Cira Amenta, DO
Dr. Amenta was born and raised outside of Washington DC. In 1994, she came to Philadelphia to go to Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school. She attended Abington Memorial Hospital for her residency in Internal Medicine. In 1997, she joined Grand View medical practices for eight years. After that, and the birth of her two daughters, she decided to start her own practice in Quakertown. She has now been there for 10 years and enjoys primary care medicine, along with her Nurse Practitioner, Sandy Cochran, and your Physician’s Assistant, Kathy Gotwals.
Dr. Amenta’s interests are hypertension management, diabetic management and endocrinology, dermatology and women’s health. Her practice mainly consists of ages 12 years old and over. She accepts most major insurances as well as some state assistance programs.
Dr. Amenta’s social interests include music and theater. Her oldest daughter plays ice hockey and Irish dance and her youngest daughter has been doing figure skating as well as Irish dance. Dr. Amenta has been taking Irish danced herself for seven years and enjoys participating in activities with her daughters’ gardening and home improvements.
